From one USPC graduate A to another; I love your site and keep up the good work. Out of curiosity, what year did you get your A?

Hey Doug, went on your site a while ago and really enjoyed it so here I am again! Question for you: I have been riding a NZ TB since the middle of July. He's an average mover who can somewhat lazy in the dressage. He show jumped in NZ and is great in that phase, still figuring out xc. Our dressage scores have been high 30's despite the fact I've been putting a good amount of time into that phase. I'm hypothesizing that the judges possibly notice his shoulder brand and expect an awesome or flashy mover and when he doesnt display that he gets scored low. He is fairly solid and steady but like I said an average mover. I have not had any neg comments on accuracy in my tests. Any tips on who to improve my scores with this pleasant but not glamorous horse. Thanks for reading this! Peter.

Hey Doug,
Glad Vinnie is doing better. How is Chester? Does he need more Love Chunks to snack on while he is recuperating? Nothing like equine garlic breath...
Looking forward to our lesson on Tuesday. I (hesitantly) am saying that you'll be pleased with the progress we have made over the past two weeks on our dressage. Meanwhile, need help: jumping out of water jumps has been kind of bumpy lately.
I am really enjoying Roo. He is a challenge and a blast to ride. ;O)
BTW, Susan agrees with me that you are a brilliant trainer. Later.

Doug,
Thanks for directing me towards The Federalist. I thought I knew what I wanted when I started searching for a horse. You gently steered me in a much better direction and I am glad I finally I took your advice. The Federalist and I are a perfect match. I am thrilled with my new horse. Thanks for your time, energy, commitment and patience.

I am very impressed with your site, horses, and your facility. I just moved to White Lake NY to train Dressage at a large Stable. Nice to know I've got some others that also ride and train in this fabulous discipline.
