Shining North Star, known around the barn as Simon was born in 2004, raced in California has made his journey to DPEquestrian in late May of 2008.
Simon is a very affectionate, kind and willing horse who is successfully making the transition from race horse to event horse. He had 7 starts in Ca. He was never quite fast enough. He is also the half brother of Olympic event horse Courageous Comet. Hopefully in a few short years Simon will follow in his footsteps.

Training and Showing Progression:
Simon is still in the infancy of his show career, but he has been progressing very well. Below you'll find a video/photo chronicle of his carrear. He is currently competing at the Training level, and will be moving up to Preliminary in the spring of 2010.
